Hey there, Pollywog!
Last week I read a post by Alexandra Franzen on creating a simple manifesto, and it spoke to me for a couple of reasons.
I liked the example she gave of a non-traditional approach. It reminded me of my favorite manifesto, which comes from Expert Enough.
(Puttylike has a great one, too.)
Also, as someone who’s learning the very, very, very basics of creating graphics in PicMonkey, I saw it as a chance to expand my skills a little. To see what would happen if I played around with rotating images and adding text.
(The first thing that happened? I started singing that Dead or Alive song. You’re welcome.)
So obviously, I needed a Persistent Polymath manifesto. And because I’m expanding my PicMonkey skills, and because I’m a wacky, loopy, upside-down kind of person, it needed to be a little more… chaotic than the others.
Something like this:
One of these days I’d like to expand on the ideas I presented here. I have plenty to say about all of them. But for now, I’ll leave this as is.
Feel free to snag this graphic and share it with your friends. And if you have a manifesto of your own, I’d love to see it!
